LANGUAGE COURSES
The Method:CTL's teachers use the Direct Method which prescribes
the use of the target language from the start; oral exercises;
role plays; drills; question answers; guided dialogue etc.
for learning the spoken language. It's intense and continuous
work on the known operative grammatical knowledge of the
student creating and enlarging their capacity for expression
and comprehension lesson by lesson.
The Teachers: only native
speaking teachers with a background in the language, literature
social science and additional specific training by CTL in
the Direct Method ;
The Quality: every course
is developed on a basis of a specific course programme which
establishes the goals, predicted content for the course,
the calendar, expected written and oral tests, and the type
of approach generally chosen (Progressive Development or
Qualitative Development). Every teacher is continually supported
and checked by the respective Head of their Teaching Department
and a third of the way through the course the student is
invited to fill out a quality check questionnaire where
they are able to express their assessment of the quality
of the course.
